THE FOUNDATION
At LeConte Realty, we do much more than help our customers buy and sell homes and property. We are committed to the idea that businesses need to continually re-invest in the communities that sustain them and to make Blount County a better place for its citizens to live.
Part of our mission statement is “to make meaningful contributions to our community”. Out of this passion, we formed the LeConte Realty Foundation, which provides our agents, clients, business partners, vendors and friends the opportunity to financially support local nonprofit causes; groups that aim to better the lives of people in and around Blount County with a general focus on housing, health and child & family services. In addition to financial support, our LeConte Realty family also volunteers hundreds of hours to local organizations that support and promote the growth of a healthy, thriving local community.
Currently, our Board of Directors consists of Lori Barrett (Chairperson), Harry McIntosh (Treasurer), Rachel Talley (Secretary), Melissa Stuart, Lane Shuler, Cyndi Sweet, Michael Grider, and Katie Beeler.
Grant recipients have included New Hope Blount County Child Advocacy Center, United Way of Blount County, Blount County Habitat for Humanity, Maryville City Schools Foundation, and Haven House, just to name a few.
